Home sweet home
Ballincollig, Cork, Ireland
Handcrafted, framed wall art using both natural & upcycled materials which are given a new lease of life to keep "nature in the frame"
"Robins appear when loved ones are near"
A much loved phrase when the presence of robins brings great comfort to those who they visit as they are thought to represent loved ones that have passed on. I for one take great comfort when visited by robins. Beautiful, thoughtful & sentimental Irish pebble art gift made from a beach pebble and driftwood. Perfect for occasions when you want to say you are thinking of someone but don't quite know what to say. Other than the flash of red & eye that I added, the rest of this beauty is naturally coloured & shaped by the wonderful Mother Nature.
Presented in your choice of either a white or black, 100% Irish-made, solid wood, box frame with glass. The frame will also be beautifully wrapped & packaged in a gift box, all made from sustainable materials, along with a blank coordinating gift tag, making gifting easy for you.
Ready for wall hanging. Can also be used free standing. This was photographed without glass to eliminate reflections
Size: 10"x 10"x 1.5" (26 cm x 26 cm x 4 cm).
Fixings: With pre-fixed sawtooth hook for wall hanging
Each piece is handcrafted from pebbles, shells, driftwood & stone gathered from the beaches of Ireland along with other recycled objects and are made in beautiful Ballincollig in Cork. They are housed in Irish-made, solid wood, 26x26cm, box frames with glass and are packaged in a recycled box ready to gift. I try to use recyclable and/or recycled materials wherever possible and everything from start to finish is sourced from Irish suppliers, keeping it local at a time when it has never been more important.

These pieces are inspired by my love for the beach & beautiful interiors. I have been making them for over 5 years now, mostly gifting them but also selling by referral and word of mouth. After much encouragement, I have decided to now take what I loved doing in my spare time and to make it my full time job.... so here goes.!! A huge change for me after working in the corporate world for my entire career to date but I'm excited. I hope you enjoy my pieces as much as I have enjoyed creating them for you ❣️ Susan
